GM Design Award Winner for the Best Chevrolet Sports Car at the 2011 S.E.M.A. Show

Today Ron Mangus Hot Rod Interiors in collaboration with Palmer's Customs Auto Body were the winners of the 2011 GM Design Award at the 2011 SEMA Show.  The award was presented to Sean Cassar, the owner of the vehicle, this morning at the GM Breakfast Awards Banquet.

Mangus and Palmer worked together on this 1959 Corvette to create a truly stunning vehicle with many custom one-off designs throughout.  From the sleek custom paint, featuring a flat black racing stipe outlined with a glossy red stripe and finished in white, to the satin finish trim inside and out, this corvette truly has it all.  It is a classic car with sex appeal and a touch of modern all rolled into one.  The renderings of this corvette have had people talking for months, but to see it in person is a real treat.
